Architecture

The dome is an impressive 315 feet (96 meters) high and can be seen from miles away across London’s skyline.

Westminster Abbey is also a must see as the site where many British monarchs have been crowned since 1066 AD! The building itself dates back even further than that; it was first constructed during Saxon times when King Edward the Confessor ruled England (1042-1066). Today it serves as both a church and burial place for British royalty such as Queen Elizabeth II herself.
